Noise In The Gallery
Musicians share their inspiring stories and mantras, as well as how they take influence from various sources. With a focus on interdisciplinary/cross-genre artists, host Joy Nkoyo (as seen on the BBC Proms) leads a series of in-depth interviews, aiming to inspire listeners to find deeper purpose in their daily lives.

5. Mona Yim : Ready to Blossom in the Morning
Musicians Joy Nkoyo and Mona Yim discuss her dizzying year of ascent, for which the seeds were sown many years prior. Mona sheds light on her journey from classical violin to music production and then learning to DJ, the resilience needed to thrive in the music industry, imposter syndrome, and taking action as a remedy to fear.
Mona Yim is a Chinese-German Producer, DJ, Songwriter and Vocalist. Her music tells stories layered within analogue drum beats, chopped vocal melodies, emotive synth, and bass-laiden beats. Having introduced her electronic persona to the world just over a year ago, she is already behind remixes of DJ Seinfeld, Glass Animals and Model Man, performing in festivals and venues all over the world.
